FurBabies Resort and Spa, is proud to offer training to set you and your dog up for success!  Our FurBabies training programs will make your life easier with the knowledge of how to raise a dog that listens, is well behaved, and knows their commands.  You will be taught to train your dog to listen to you and respond, as well as setting boundaries to lessen mistakes and accidents.

Potty Training

Must be current on Vaccinations
Age: 3 Months to Adult

Class Length: 9AM-5PM Five Days a Week for Four Weeks

Getting a new puppy is super exciting!  They are cute and fun but also a LOT of work when it comes to potty training and other basic training on what a "good dog" does.  Let us teach them for you!  Potty training is mainly repetition on where the correct place is to go potty when necessary.  Young puppies haven't fully developed their bladder so they need to go more frequently.  However, most of us have jobs that can't accommodate the dedicated time in the beginning to let them out.  With our fool proof system, we start with potty breaks every 30-60 minutes and then extend the timeframes each week to a standard 4 hour stan of time.  Please note that this is one of the only times that we use a crate for training.   This eliminates accidents as dogs will not potty in their own space.  You will be required to have a crate at home and to use it as instructed during your four week session with us.  Sign up with us now and say goodbye to potty accidents in your home!       

Day Training

Too busy to train? Let us put the foundation behaviors in place for you. Drop your dog off with us from 9 am -2 pm on pre-scheduled days, Monday thru Friday, and we’ll do the work. At the end of the week we will teach you all your dog has learned. We recommend a minimum of 3 weekly session, per week, for 4 weeks to set your pup up for success. Training is customized per dog at the owners request.  We ask that you limit the requests to 3-4 topics at a time so we can get your pup to fully master those particular commands before moving onto the next.  Trying to tackle to many issues at once can distract most dogs instead of perfecting the topics that are most important to the owner.  Behaviors learned can include basic obedience (sit, stay, come, down), off leash and/or on leash training, puppy training (biting, chewing, ect.), trick training (shake paw, roll over, ect), elimination of common behavior problems such as jumping, barking and selective listening, socialization, and entry way training.  We are not limited to only these topics so if you have another special request for us to correct then please bring it to our attention and we will advise if we can correct those problem areas with your dog.

Premium In-Home Dog Training Package

Our Certified Trainer comes to
your home 3 times a week and trains your dog for you!
You can be present or away at work.

home (3 times a week for about 1 hour each time). One
session per week (4 total) is dedicated to showing you what your dog has learned.
